The temperature at which an amorphous polymer changes from glassy to rubbery behavior.
Glass transition temperature is a key thermal property of amorphous or partially amorphous polymers. Below this temperature, polymer chains are relatively immobile and brittle; above it, segmental motion increases, producing softer and more flexible behavior.
